M-GO / FANDANGO
For M-GO, the joint venture video streaming service from Dreamworks Animation and Technicolor, Stacy Katz created a comprehensive communications program spanning business, tech & consumer visibility, catapulting the company from an unknown entrant into a next gen digital entertainment leader. In eight months following the launch, PR delivered over 900MM+ media impressions equaling $7MM in advertising value via earned media such as NYT, USA Today, Techcrunch, US Weekly, Variety and more.
Once business, industry and tech coverage had been established, the need to increase consumer acquisition became the business imperative. Stacy Katz helped this new entertainment platform stand out by targeting the lifestyle/food vertical. Katz conceived & produced “Dinner & A Download”一 the company’s first original content which paired celebrity chefs highlighting the recipes that were inspired by their favorite movies. Katz wrote the scripts, produced the content and drove PR results.
Creative campaign efforts paid off with earned media on The Talk, Katie Couric and more. The company benefited with increased brand awareness, business development/partner marketing funds, exponential content sales/viewership, and increased social channel following by 35%.
